🐶 Puppy’s First Meditation
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: TBD (Check out Drop-in Puppy Socialization
Puppy ages: 10wk-16wk
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
**Duration: 2-hours per week; 4 weeks **
Cost per dog-person team: $349 Contact Us (See “How do I Register?)
Description: We have found that young, friendly, energetic dogs learn best in short bursts interspersed with play and rest breaks. To optimize your pup’s learning, this course will be broken into sections of person-dog play, dog-dog socialization, training, and settling. In this series, we will cover introductions to basic obedience (sit, down, wait, name recognition), practical life skills (impulse control, engagement, settle, be still for handling, working around distractions, yielding to leash pressure), and body language (healthy play, signs of insecurity, when to intervene), plus general puppyhood training topics (e.g. chewing, teething, potty training, relationship building, etc.). This course should help satisfy your young pup’s social, physical, and mental needs to show off their full potential as a balanced dog. Due to the nature of this class, we ask that all handlers are at least 18yo. Please be sure your puppy can move freely in any equipment to prevent developmental problems (no front-clip no-pull harnesses) and do not bring items to class which could be a choking hazard to other puppies during play time ( no costumes, no bandanas, no hair bows or ribbons, etc.).
Please bring the following to class:
- Proof of vaccinations (puppies should have at least 2 rounds of vaccines and must have been in your home no less than 2 weeks)
- Hungry puppies - don’t feed a full breakfast before class; this helps increase your pup’s motivation to work for food
- Your pup’s breakfast
- Pup’s favorite, high-value treats (cut into small pieces to prolong the fun)
- A treat pouch or sufficient snack storage pockets
- A safe, fun, interactive toy (like a tug)
- A towel, yoga mat, or small blanket for your pup to lay on
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A flat collar with identification tags
- Any other collar you prefer to work in, so long as it is safely fitted, age-appropriate, and removable for play time
- A yak cheese chew or other puppy-safe, high-value chew
Frequently asked questions:
- My adult dog is older but playful, can we join?
- No; puppies under 6 months of age have different play styles than adult dogs and can annoy or irritate more mature dogs. Since a component of this course is socialization, we recommend your adult dog join a class designed to meet their needs and come along on one of our monthly adventures for healthy socialization.
- My puppy is shy, can we join?
- Absolutely! Play time will be divided in a way that allows shy puppies to watch or take a ‘walking break’ instead of getting bombarded by confident puppies. Proper socialization is imperative to a healthy, well balanced adult, so bring your shy pups and we will ensure their needs are met.
- My puppy is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- No; dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class of this nature. Check out our private training and low-capped classes for reactive puppies and dogs.
- My puppy is nervous around new people, can we join?
- Maybe; contact us Trainer @FlexiblePet.Solutions to help determine the best next steps for your puppy.

Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: 1-hour per week; 4 weeks

Description: In this series, we will consider learning theory, energy, body language, and behavior. The course will cover basic obedience (sit, down, wait, name recognition) and some practical life skills (impulse control, engagement, settle, be still for handling, working around distractions, yielding to leash pressure). The main focus of this course is understanding your dog better to help meet your training goals more efficiently. Due to the curriculum design of this class, we ask that the same handler attends every session, limit one-handler per dog, and require that all handlers are at least 18yo. Please be sure your dog or puppy can move freely in any equipment to prevent developmental problems (no front pulling harnesses on dogs under 18mon).
Please bring the following to class:
- Proof of vaccinations (Rabies, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Parvo, & Bordetella; also recommend H3N8 and H3N2 canine influenza & leptospirosis)
- Hungry pups - don’t feed a meal before class; this helps increase your pup’s motivation to work for food
- Your pup’s meal
- Pup’s favorite, high-value treats (cut into small pieces to prolong the fun)
- A treat pouch or sufficient snack storage pockets
- A safe, fun, interactive toy (like a tug)
- A towel, yoga mat, or small blanket for your pup to lay on
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A flat collar with identification tags
- Any other collar you prefer to work in, so long as it is safely fitted, age-appropriate, and allows full range-of-motion
- A yak cheese chew or other pup-safe, high-value chew for discussion time
Frequently asked questions:
- My puppy is shy, can we join?
- Absolutely! Learning to be calm is a core objective of this course.
- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- No; dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class. Check out our private training and low-capped classes for reactive puppies and dogs.
- My dog is nervous around new people, can we join?
- Yes; in this series, dogs should have only planned and structured interactions with strangers, which can be modified to put nervous dogs at ease. Please let the instructor know before the first class.
🐕🦺 AKC Canine Good Citizenship Prep Class
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: 12/31/2023 330-430pm - testing via private sessions always available
Dog ages: 8mon and older
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: 1-hour per week; 5 weeks
Cost per dog-person team: $249
Prerequisite: Basic Obedience
The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizenship test is designed to set owners and dogs up for success when living in a community. The CGC title is usually considered the first step towards certification as a therapy or service dog, though that can vary by program. It’s a great place to start to ensure your dog knows how to enjoy time out and about with you while providing safe and healthy boundaries.
Dogs who pass the test will be able to perform the following exercises:
1: Accept a friendly stranger approaching
2: Sitting politely for petting by a stranger
3: Allow examination and grooming by a stranger
4: Walk attentively on a loose leash
5: Walk through a crowd without getting distracted or nervous
6: Sit, down, and stay on cue
7: Come to owner when called
8: Stay focused and neutral around another neutral dog
9: Stay focused around auditory and visual distractions
10: Remain calm during a 3min separation from handler (staying with another handler)
In our 5-week prep class, we will tackle all of the above objectives. Individual dogs may struggle with different activities, so the course will vary in focus with the needs of the attendees. As with all obedience-type courses, owners are also expected to practice these skills outside of class to help solidify concepts. The final class will be used to test dog-handler teams who wish to be tested and sharpen skills for those not yet ready to take the test.
Dr. Donnelly is an AKC certified CGC evaluator, and the fee for this course includes evaluation and your CGC paperwork to get your pup their title. There is an additional fee paid directly to the AKC to register your title, and your dog must be registered with AKC to receive the title (all dogs can register now, regardless of pedigree!). Titles must be registered within 12mon of test date.
Are you and your dog ready to take the test? Email us to schedule a private evaluation or get on our email list to join us for a group class test date.
Please bring the following to class:
- Proof of vaccinations (Rabies, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Parvo, & Bordetella; also recommend H3N8 and H3N2 canine influenza & leptospirosis)
- Hungry pups - don’t feed a dinner before class; this helps increase your pup’s motivation to work for food
- Your pup’s dinner
- Pup’s favorite, high-value treats (cut into small pieces to prolong the fun)
- A treat pouch or sufficient snack storage pockets
- A safe, fun, interactive toy (like a tug)
- A towel, yoga mat, or small blanket for your pup to lay on
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A well-fitted flat collar with identification tags
- Your dog’s brush or comb
Frequently asked questions:
- My puppy is shy, can we join?
- No; we do not recommend this class for shy dogs - try a basic obedience or trick training course first to build confidence.
- No; most of the CGC revolves around a dog being calm around strangers, so it’s important to boost your dog’s confidence around people before trying a course like this. We recommend a basic obedience, doggie fitness, or trick training course first to build confidence.
🎪 Introduction to Trick Dogs (includes AKC Novice test)
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
**Day & Time: TBD **
Dog ages: 18wk and older
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: 1-hour per week; 4 weeks
Cost per dog-person team: $249 Contact Us (See “How do I Register?)
Description: Trick training is a fun, dynamic, engaging way to build your relationship with your dog - plus it showcases their skills! This series introduces a tool called a clicker, which uses positive reinforcements such as food, attention, physical affection, and/or play. Over this series, we’ll cover many ‘novice’ tricks (push up, spin/twist, shake, high-five, get in, sit in a box, jump, touch it, tunnel, find it, two-paw touch, and four-paws up) and some practical life skills (impulse control, chin rest for exams, stand for grooming/exams, and an introduction to new gear). Each session will cover “how to” teach a subset of the tricks, but since our main goal is a positive training experience, completion of tricks and skills will vary between teams. For shy dogs, distract-able dogs, and/or young puppies, the basics will be a big challenge! For dogs who excel, we will always have more advanced tricks and complicated behavior chains to try. Since the first session in the series introduces the clicker, which is used throughout the series, we ask that all handlers attend the first session. We also ask that handlers only bring one dog to class, and require that handlers be at least 12yo. Since the focus of the class is more on mental challenges for the dogs, we additionally request you provide energetic dogs with an appropriate physical outlet before class to maximize everyone’s attention and retention during class.
AKC Trick Dog Titles The American Kennel Club (AKC) offers five levels of Trick Dog titles for AKC-registered dogs (including mixed-breed dogs who are registered). At the conclusion of this introductory course, if the dog and handler can successfully perform 10 tricks from the AKC Novice Trick Dog list, the team will be eligible for their Novice Trick Dog title. For registered dogs, this requires a $25 dollar fee (paid directly to the AKC) and submission of your evaluator’s checklist verification form.
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A flat collar with identification tags
- Any other collar you prefer to work in, so long as it is safely fitted, age-appropriate, and allows full range-of-motion
- A clicker (if you have a favorite; loaners will be provided in class)
Frequently asked questions:
- My puppy is shy, can we join?
- Absolutely! Trick training can give shy pups an opportunity to build confidence and have more neutral opportunities around new people and dogs.
- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- Maybe; dog-reactive dogs often need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class. With instructor approval, this can be a great class for a reactive dog in a rehabilitation program. Check out our private training and low-capped classes for reactive pups who aren’t quite ready for larger group classes.
- My dog is nervous around new people, can we join?
- Yes; in this series, dogs should have limited and very structured interactions with strangers, which can be modified to put nervous dogs at ease. Please let the instructor know before the first class.
- Are there prerequisite classes?
- Nope; this series introduces positive reinforcement training and tricks independently of other coursework. All levels and ages should enjoy this course!

Introduction to AKC Rally

Duration: 1-hour per week; 4 weeks

Description: AKC Rally is a fun, interactive dog sport which focuses on teamwork. Together, you and your dog navigate a course of 10-20 signs and are judged on your execution of those tasks. Some are simple, like “left turn,” and some are a bit tougher, like “down walk around”, but as long as you’re having fun you’re doing it correctly. We focus on some foundational skills the first week, then practice individual signs, and finally work through entire courses. AKC rally can be done virtually (filming and submitting to AKC) or in-person (at an AKC approved event) or you can just use these skills to navigate the world more fluidly. It’s a great way to continue to improve communication with your dog.

- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- Maybe; often, dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class of this nature. 🐾 Urban Walking
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly

This class will be partially outdoors, so plan accordingly for both human and canine participants. Due to the nature of this course, we ask that all human participants are at least 18yo, and we welcome more than one dog handler per dog when applicable. Please do not plan to leave valuables in your vehicle or at Pet Food Express. If the weather is incompatible with learning outside (smoke, heat, wind, etc.), we will practice with special fitness equipment inside the store. Are you pursuing your AKC Fit Dog titles? - Yes; we welcome all energy levels to Urban Walking, but it is a moderately paced walk. For high-energy dogs, please provide exercise to your dog before the class to help everyone learn the most during class.

- This is somewhat weather-dependent; on days where temperatures or air quality make moderate outdoor exercise unsafe, the instructor will provide obstacles and tasks to attempt inside Pet Food Express to continue to build confidence in novel situations.
- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- Maybe; often, dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class of this nature. Introduction to Scent Work
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: TBD
Prerequisite: basic obedience or instructor approval
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA) with add-ons
Duration: 1 hour per week; 4 weeks
Cost per dog-person team: $200
Description: ‘Scent work’ for dogs basically involves a dog learning to search an area for a scent and alert the handler to the strongest source of that scent. Dogs have a much more sensitive olfactory system than us humans, and thus perceive the environment very differently, so working together as a team in scent work can be tricky. In this course series we will introduce several scent work exercises and survey some of the many sports, trials, and working applications of ‘scent work’. We will introduce our dogs to peppermint oil and AKC birch oil (Betula lenta).
Check out some fun homework shorts & mistakes to avoid on our Scent Work YouTube playlist
Intermediate Scent Work
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
**Day & Time: 5:15-6:15pm Sundays, enrolling for July 7th - July 28 **
Prerequisite: Intro to scent work or instructor approval
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA) with add-ons
Duration: 1 hour per week; 4 weeks plus optional add-ons
Cost per dog-person team: $275
Description: Building on the intro to scent work curriculum, we will approach more difficult searches: buried hides, unknown hides, multiple hides per search, car searches, outside hides, container searches with distractions, additional scent oils, and more. Add-on times and locations will vary greatly to help our learners expand their scent finding skills. Please arrange any makeups before enrolling.
🐶 DROP-IN Puppy Socialization
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: Sundays from 10:30am-11:30am
Puppy ages: 10wk-20wk
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: Drop-in and stay as you like
Cost per dog-person team: $25 per session
Description: Bring your pup and let’s let them play / explore / learn with other young puppies and one very patient, older dog. Every class begins with a period where we ask puppies to focus on their handlers and practice new skills (paws up, sit, down, etc) before we transition to free play. Then we end with a puppy cradle and some gentle handling practice to help our pups learn how to be calm and relaxed.
- Pup’s favorite, high-value treats (cut or crumble into small pieces to prolong the fun)
- A treat pouch or sufficient snack storage pockets
- A safe, fun, interactive toy (like a tug)
- A towel, yoga mat, or small blanket for your pup to lay on (optional)
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A flat collar with identification tags
- Any other collar you prefer to work in, so long as it is safely fitted, age-appropriate, and removable for play time
- A yak cheese chew or other puppy-safe, high-value chew for ‘settling’ times (optional)
- Grooming tools you want your puppy to get used to (optional)
Frequently asked questions:
- My adult dog is older but playful, can we join?
- No; puppies under 5 months of age have different play styles than adult dogs and can annoy or irritate more mature dogs.
- Absolutely! These sessions are very ‘hands off’ so puppies should be able to roam without much fuss from strangers.
🐶 DROP-IN Obedience
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
**Day & Time: Sundays from 12:00pm-1:00pm **
Puppy ages: 20wk and older
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: Drop-in and stay as you like
Cost per dog-person team: $40 per session
Description: Bring your adolescent or adult dog and we will work on basic manners (leash manners, meeting people, working around other dogs), environmental distractions (store sounds/sights/smells, fake dogs, bath station sounds, the instructor dressing up as a ghost, etc.), and life skills (handling, calm/settling, grooming basics, approaching new objects). Every class is a little bit different to maximize the diversity your dog gets to experience, but feel free to bring up your training goals for a fun twist or a custom homework assignment. If you’re in between course series, come work on your advanced tricks, heeling, or fitness goals, too!
Please bring the following to class:
- Proof of vaccinations - this class is only for fully vaccinated pups
- Hungry pups - don’t feed a full breakfast before class; this helps increase your pup’s motivation to work for food
- Your pup’s breakfast
- Pup’s favorite, high-value treats (cut into small pieces to prolong the fun)
- A treat pouch or sufficient snack storage pockets
- A safe, fun, interactive toy (like a tug)
- A towel, yoga mat, or small blanket for your pup to lay on (optional)
- A 6 foot leash with secure snap or clip
- A flat collar with identification tags
- Any other collar you prefer to work in, so long as it is safely fitted, age-appropriate, and removable for play time
Frequently asked questions:
- My adult dog is older and has never been to a group class, can we come?
- Yes! Some older dogs do great in a group class and some are too distracted to focus the first few classes. Be sure to keep your expectations for your pup realistic and provide some exercise before the class to set them up for success.
- My pup is shy, can we join?
- Absolutely! Any play time will be divided in a way that allows shy dogs to watch or take a ‘walking break’ instead of getting bombarded by confident dogs. Proper socialization is imperative to a healthy, well balanced dog, so bring your shy pups and we will work on building their confidence.
- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- No; dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before joining a group class of this nature. Check out our private training and low-capped classes for reactive puppies and dogs.
- My pup is nervous around new people, can we join?
- Absolutely! These sessions only incorporate structured interactions with people, so dogs should be able to slowly build confidence around strangers.

Drop-in “Open Play” Doggie Gym Time (open to invited or enrolled clients only)
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: current enrolled teams will be notified of time/date
Dog ages: 18wk and older
Location: Pet Food Express (1388 S California Blvd, Walnut Creek, CA)
Duration: Up to 1 hour
Cost per dog-person team: $20 per session for enrolled teams; $40 per session for unenrolled teams
Description: These drop in events are limited to current & invited Flexible Pet Solutions Clients ONLY Having trouble going for longer walks in the heat of summer? We offer a temperature-controlled space to practice your obedience, tricks, and fitness routines while working around other dog-handler teams and real world distractions. These sessions are designed for healthy, active dogs to build up strength, balance, and confidence by working on multiple challenging surfaces. Layer in tricks and cues your dog already knows to advance the game or stick with luring for younger or less confident pups. The goal of these sessions is to have fun and explore while being safe and respectful of other working teams. We ask that reactive dogs not attend without instructor approval due to the close proximity to other teams. These modules are designed to be modified to fit diverse fitness goals, but you should always consult with your veterinarian before beginning any new doggie fitness routine. Handlers of all ages are welcome, so long as they are respectful of other teams.
Frequently asked questions:
- My pup is shy, can we join?
- Yes; this is a great time to train near other dogs who are engaged with their own handlers, which takes a lot of the pressure off a shy pup.
- My dog is dog-reactive (jumps, lunges, barks, etc. for more than 10sec when seeing another dog), can we join?
- No; dog-reactive dogs need a more structured environment to learn how to be calm in the presence of other dogs before attempting to train in a group environment. Check out our private training and low-capped classes for reactive puppies and dogs.
- My dog is nervous around new people, can we join?
- Yes; please let the instructor know prior to the start of the session so that other participants can be mindful of their energy around your pup.
Pack walk (group walks with owners & dogs of all levels)
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: weekend days or weekday evenings, announced by email
Dog ages: 18wk and older
Location: varies
Duration: approx 1-4 hours
Cost per dog-person team: $20 enrolled; $40 per unenrolled (per walk; open to existing clients only or with instructor approval)
Description: Pack walks can help dogs experience new places, people, and things with less anxiety by observing other neutral dogs in the pack. Well socialized, confident dogs instill calmness in more anxious dogs in a way us humans struggle to mimic. Pack walks with limited dog-dog contact are also a wonderful way to give dog-shy or dog-aggressive dogs proper ‘neutral’ social experiences where the reactive/shy dog can experience peace around other dogs. Pack walks help drain energy, though they are not fast-paced, so energetic dogs benefit from additional exercise throughout the day. Handlers of all ages are welcome to attend so long as they are respectful. These walks are largely weather-dependent since safety is our first priority. Walk, chat, relax, and enjoy a pack walk with us!
Pack chill (settling in public, around other teams)
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: weekend days or weekday evenings, announced monthly by email
Dog ages: 18wk and older
Prerequisite: Basic Obedience or instructor approval
Location: varies
Duration: ~1 hour
Cost per dog-person team: $20 enrolled; $40 per unenrolled (per chill; open to existing clients only or with instructor approval)
Description: Just as we lean on neutral dogs for pack walks, pack chills harness the power of calm energy to show our new learners the art of ‘chill’. Pack chills can be outdoors, but we tend to be in pet-friendly stores to give our dogs a more unique training environment. Pack chills DO NOT help drain physical energy, so dogs should get plenty of exercise before the meet up. After the ‘chill’, we often encourage parallel play (e.g. tug with owner, near other teams, outside the location) to both reward our dogs and to offer a productive release for any pent up energy after chilling. Mastering the ‘art of doing nothing’ is so important for our dogs in a suburban/urban area where it’s easy to get overstimulated. Handlers of all ages are welcome to attend so long as they are ready to ‘chill’, too. Please bring your dog’s flat collar with ID tags, whatever gear you typically walk in, a 6-ft leash or shorter, high-value treats, your pup’s dinner, an interactive toy for afterwards, and some water for both of you.
🌊 Drop-in, Monthly Dog-ventures (open to enrolled / private clients only)
Instructor: Dr. Donnelly
Day & Time: weekend days or weekday evenings, announced monthly by text or email to existing clients
Dog ages: 18wk and older
Location: varies by month
Duration: approx 2-4 hours
Cost per dog-person team: $40 per session for enrolled teams; $80 per session for unenrolled teams (per venture; ONLY OPEN TO EXISTING CLIENTS) Contact Us (See “How do I Register?)
Description: These drop in events are limited to current & invited Flexible Pet Solutions Clients ONLY Dog-ventures are designed to get you and your pup out on adventures with other balanced dogs and puppies. Particularly for young pups or shy pups, having regular, respectful, and well-monitored socialization experiences helps both to develop healthy habits and to fulfill social needs. Dogs tend to do best ‘moving together,’ so these adventures typically involve a walk, hike, or other form of exercise to get all the dogs moving together before we play off-leash. Long lines are encouraged for dogs whose recall is still ‘in progress’, and you may see some dogs utilizing other tools (e.g. muzzles) to prevent them from rehearsing unwanted behavior (e.g. ingesting rocks), too. We often incorporate moments of training between exercise and play, but the structure is very fluid. We ask that you RSVP for these events to help us keep track of the total number of participants. Additional fees for local or regional parks may apply. Please arrange transportation for you and your dog. Handlers of all ages are welcome to attend so long as they are respectful. These ventures are largely weather-dependent since safety is our first priority.
Refund Policy
Refunds, make-ups, & COVID19
For group classes, we do not offer refunds or rain-checks for any missed sessions; please make sure all classes in a series work for your schedule before signing up for a group class series. For private sessions and medical/grooming assistance appointments, we require 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment or you will still be financially responsible for the session. Exceptions may be applied on a case-by-case basis. We understand that some jobs (e.g. firefighters, medical professionals, etc.) require shifts that may not allow for weekly attendance, and we are completely willing to work with individuals to make these sorts of situations work, but please contact us before booking to arrange these adjustments.
If you have cold/flu/COVID symptoms, have tested positive for COVID19, or have been in contact with someone who was ill or tested positive, please do not attend class until you have obtained a negative COVID19 test AND any symptoms have subsided. Make-up class dates or partial refunds will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Code of Conduct While participating in training, we expect, to the best of your ability, you will use common sense to ensure the safety of all people and animals present. We expect participants to show respect for all people regardless of age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or abilities and be sensitive to those who have fear or anxiety about the animals you are handling. Additionally, we expect participants to clean up any messes made by personal pets, and, to the best of your ability, prevent damages done to facilities, equipment, or personal property of any participants. Additionally, payment for services is due at the time of the service or before.
2023 “Mystery dog upper respiratory illness outbreak” - the American veterinary medical association has seen a dramatic decrease in reported casses, so we will resume shared water practices. We urge you to keep your dog home if you see signs of illness, and to alert us (and we will alert classmates) if your dog does show signs of illness after a class or workshop.
Play is very important to social fulfillment, but busy dog parks and dog beaches are never a safe place to socialize, so we encourage our clients to choose appropriate play outlets (e.g. pack walks, private meetups, secluded trails, etc..) to meet the unique needs of each dog. Have you thought of something we’re missing? Let us know; Safety is a priority!
